Before uploading another person's personal information, image, video, voice or likeness, you are responsible for ensuring that you have any authority, permission or consent required for your intended use.

Do not upload highly sensitive personal information unless necessary for a supported feature and you have lawful authority to do so.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use information to:

  • create and maintain accounts;
  • provide requested AI generations and editing services;
  • process reference media;
  • calculate and manage credits;
  • process transactions;
  • store and deliver projects and Outputs;

5. AI PROCESSING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Pixmo uses third-party infrastructure and artificial-intelligence providers to provide certain generation features.

When necessary to perform a requested generation, Pixmo may transmit prompts, reference images, videos, audio, generation parameters and related Inputs to providers responsible for processing that request.

These include AI image and video generation providers, AI text and prompt-writing providers, and the cloud infrastructure they run on.

A request may be processed by more than one provider. If one provider cannot complete a request, Pixmo may send the same request to another provider so it can be completed.

Depending on the model selected, processing may involve third-party model providers associated with the applicable AI technology.

Providers and models may change as Pixmo's integrations evolve.

Pixmo does not represent that all processing occurs exclusively in Australia.

6. DATA RETENTION

Pixmo retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining accounts and projects, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance and legitimate business recordkeeping.

Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

Third-party AI and infrastructure providers may maintain their own retention practices.

Where functionality permits, deletion of an account or project may result in deletion or de-identification of associated information, subject to technical, legal, security, backup and recordkeeping requirements.

7. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • AI image, video and text generation providers used to fulfil generation requests;
  • cloud hosting and storage providers;
  • authentication providers;
  • email delivery providers;
  • payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, and Apple for purchases in the iPhone app);
  • analytics and operational providers;
  • security and fraud-prevention providers;

  • a successor entity in connection with a legitimate business transaction.

Pixmo does not sell personal information for money.
